Culinary Fundamentals - Cooking School App Reviews

This app is great for beginners to intermediate home cooks to professional cooks. Videos are clear and understandable. The only thing to improve this app are corresponding recipes.

In theory the idea of showing the techniques are good, but I found it annoying to watch someone trying to cut food with a dull knife. Please learn to sharpen your knives better. All I can focus on is the terrible thunking noises of the dull knife hitting the cutting board. Also if they try putting a flat damp cloth underneath it prevents the board from moving/wobbling and dampens the cutting noise.

I would have hoped to receive more detailed ratios, ingredients, etc. This app has the potential to be great but has missed the mark. Its only ok for VERY beginner cooks. For example, in the video where the chef is making polenta, it is not mentioned how much water to dry polenta. Also, in the brisket video, all we see is a man slicing a piece of meet. You should then explain how to cook it. I wish I could get my money back.

Give $5 to charity instead of throwing it to the wind in this app. Nothing loaded or worked.

This program did not work for me. Very frustrating considering the price of the app. Based on the other comments it sounds like even if I got the videos working I would be disappointed. Bye bye money :(

The videos load quickly, despite what others have encountered. The content is great in most cases but some are too brief. Appetizers and you wish youd stayed for the main course. The sections on seafood and vegetables are worth the price. Give it a try.

Crazy good!! Shows great skills and techniques in cooking and preparing. Great for young and old cooks.

This app is a joke! The videos dont down load even with wifi and most are only 10-30 seconds long. Complete scam. Seriously, do not waste your money Like I did. Very very bad and misleading app.

3rd day trying to download one of many desired clips. Wifi great at home. Guess viewing them comes with an update
